Screen Number...?

Hello Experts,

What shud we give the screen number whenever we are making a dialog program using se51...and also what screen number shud we give for GUI status and title in se41...

I mean is there any standard that we have to follow..Please suggest...

Hi,

You can choose your own screen number exclude screen no 1000, because 1000 will be used for standard selection-screens. But normally its better to use from 9000 series.

There is no standard as such.

Usually custom screen number starts with 9000

NO standard but many follow the 9000 Sequence.

For a particular program if you create multiple screen please follow a sequence would be easy to track in future.

I always use 100 for first screen....200 for second and so on...

For subscreens...101...102....

For GUI....I usually use....STATUS_100 for first screen....STATUS_200 for second screen...
