HOW CAN I TRANSFER THE SCREEN ELEMENTS AND TEXT ELEMENTS FROM ONE VERSION (4.6B) TO ECC 6.0.

PLZ HELP.

I do not think the option of transfering text elements from one version to another version. I believe u got to create them.

Hi,

which kind of screen elements are u talking about? Which kind of text?

With the sapscript text and smartforms text u can create a CR and include its in it. Then release it and import in the new system (ask help at your sysadmin to do that).

The other kind of text elements are includes directly in programs. So if u transport the program, u'll tranpsort also the text elements of the program.

Hi,

The transfer will be usually done by BASIS person. In ECC 6.0, You can check by executing transaction SPAU to know which objects were transferred. In case if any thing is missing then You have to create explicitly.
