Hi guys,
we would like to go through secure outbound e-mail implementation with encryption.
As per our compreension of [help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6f/d02041cfb7f423e10000000a155106/frameset.htm] and [OSS Note 149926|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1pdCZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=149926]:
1. SAP does not apply directly any encryptrion algorith, but
2. asks the E-mail proxy to do that placing the string "[sign]" in mail subject
3. E-mail proxy has to remove such a string and apply encryption to outbound e.-mail
Is that right?
Is any possbility to encrypt mail directly in SAP, not asking the e-mail proxy to do that?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Dear Gianfranco Vallese!
No, there has been no change since SAP note 149926, you must use of
Secure E-mail Proxy.
As described in note #149926 SAP povides only the possibility to sign a
e-mail which have to encrypt and sign with a digital signature. The
execution of this requirement will do at the proxy with a solution from
a third party product. Unfortunately SAP provides no downloadable
product to realsize a encryption and/or digital signature.
Further a signed document should check from this product for the correct originator.
Such a product doesn't exists from SAP side.
Unfortunately in this area no certified solution partners exists.
