SCAT Problem

Hello ,

I want to record scat for transaction MM01. But I am getting a message 'Releases higher than 6.20 are not permitted'. I have checked with TCODE SCC4 the client I am using is having authorization for catt. I am using 4.7.

Is there any thiong missing?

Hi Dilip!

Sounds more like the general recommendation, not to use batch input / CATT for transactions MM01/MM02, MM41/MM42 is now coded as error message in the system.

Use instead BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA, there are already a lot of hints in SDN.

Hi ,

47 is application release. 620 is basis release.

I am not sure which basis release you are on.

You can always try extended Catt ( SECATT ).

You can use LSMW instead of SCAT.
