Scanning Barcode

Hi all

I have a requiremnet to scan the barcode anbd retrieve the data based on the barcode details.I have developed a Ztransaction for that.

But the information in barcode is scanned in 2 lines in n notepad. But when we scan the same in sap text editor ot text box, only the first line gets scanned and the second line gets scanned in the default cursor position, that too it overwrites the tab separated informtaion of the second line.

For example. The contents in the barcode in notepad is

"BD1XR08I0007527140205160

140169 1109200830 3974.23 8708.99.00946.00 28.00 309.14 "

When i scan this barcode,

'BD1XR08I0007527140205160' comes in ine line and in next line only '309.14' gets displayed .

How to scan this barcode and in which control i have to scan. I tried with text editor and text box.. But it is not working..

Hi,

Just check out the length of the barcode...y becoz SAP syatem has its fixed length barcode position..

May be i think it is exceeding the actual length..
