Hi

Excuse Ravi the trx for translation is Se63, not SE68.

So run SE63 go to TRANSLATION->LONG TEXT->SAPSCRIPT

Here you can translate sapscript and smartform.

The system'll show all text elements and so you can start to translate.

Or you can choose the option TO TRANSLATE your form in ALL language or in SELECTED language.

In this case your form'll be active for all languages you've selected and after you'll change the text elements

Hi max,

Thanks a lot for helping me in solving my problems,

se63 is used to translate it to only any one language i think so. is it possible to translate at a time to different languages.

Thanks

Hi

Yes it is: see the previous answer, but remember in this case you'll create only the version for each language you've selected.

But you'll have to change the text element: re-writing them in the new languages.

Hi

You can assign the language directly by trx SE71 fot sapscript and SMARTFORMS for sm.

In both trx you can see the section LANGUAGE ATTRIBUTES

Here you can create a version of your form for all language you need.

But all these versions'll be as original, so you need to change all texts you've inserted, i.e you have to translate all texts.

For SAPSCRIPT you can do it by SE71 because you can choose the language (so the version) of the sapscript you want to translate, but for the SAMRTFORMS I believe you can only use trx SE63.

Hi Ravi,

In both smartforms and SAPScripts.. you have an option

to translate to all or some selected languages..

click on the arrow to choose the language and translate..

this option in the first screen and in the general attributes tab in smartforms..
