SAPscript text problem

Hello,

I am using the graphical editor for entering notification tasks. Normally, I copy and paste content from an e-mail. After saving the notification and exiting from it when I re-enter the notification in display or change mode, the text in the notification task is distorted, some characters are missing and some additional characters are displayed. Essentially the formatting is lost.

Is this a problem due to the copy and paste from e-mail? How can I circumvent this problem?

Thanks,

Rugmani

With line editor, it is difficult to copy and paste several lines from e-mails. Thats the main reason why I use graphical editors.

Is there a way to copy and paste multiple lines of data using line editor?

One simple way can be of creating standard text from SO10 and upload (Text->upload from 2nd screen) ur text in it from a RTF document (*.rtf) . And then include it in sapscript.

Hello,

As this text is a notification task that is being entered, using SO10 might not be a very convenient way. Anyway, thank you for the suggestion.

Thanks,

Rugmani

Hello Joy,

Once the text has been copied and pasted into a service notification task from SO10, is it possible to edit this text in the notification itself or does it have to be done in the standard text and copied again?

Thanks,

Rugmani

Sorry,

Rugmani, I was little bit confused with the subject line, I thought u r using sapscript program, but actially u r using only the sapscript editor not the sapscript program...if that is ur case then u cannot use std. text. U can go for line by line copy of the text to the line editor or u can paste the whole text in graphical editor and then convert it to line editor and adjust those positions where u r facing formatting problem.

JOy.

Hello Joy,

If I need to add more text to an already existing text, I am not able to do so using the graphical editor. Only the line editor allows me to add more lines. Is this true or am I doing something wrong?

Also I would like to know if it is possible to edit already existing text using the graphical/ line editor?

Thanks,

Rugmani

Go to your Text. (I assume you will get the Text Editor like SE38)

Now double click on the Text editor.

Now, do the Text > Upload...

Upload your .doc or .rtf file.
