sapscript page format

hi,

i copy a form from which the page format is dina4. in the copied form, i need to change the page format to something else.

i notice that when open the copied form, the page format field is dimmed in the basic setting which doesn't allow me to change.

please advise.

Hi,

If certain attributes of the form are not changable it may be that you are not working in the original language of the form. Check in the form header and if the original language is not your working language, choose Utilities -> Change original language.

the utilities -> convert orig lang is dimmed as well.

how could i change the original language to EN as currently is DE.

Hi,

Two things to check then;

1) You are in change mode? (silly question I know, but always worth checking)

2) Does the form actually exist in your local client? Or is it just being displayed from client 000?

hi,

1) change mode. not silly, sometimes does happen.

2) in the client that i edit. i actually log in in lang DE and i able to change the page format. but i can't understand as after the change of the page format, alignment problem i need to resolve. this is what i face when log in DE.

how should i do to change the original lang to EN so that i able to change.

i already given point. u gave a good clue.

Hi,

It should work like this;

Log in using EN, call SE71 and enter the name of your from and DE as the language, choose change.

Now you are changing the form in the original language (as you have done already for the page format), and here you should be able to choose Utilities -> change original language.

if such a case , then u have to re-size windows of ur script according to page format ,

and also TAB spaces ur r using .
