Hi,
My client just made the setup for a locl printer so that I can print from SAP with remote VPN access. The SAPLPD comes up and the protocol looks really good:
(20:34:08) SAPLPD Version 6.28 for Windows/NT (OPT) is listening
(20:34:08) OS-Info: version = 5.1, build = 0/2600, text = Service Pack 2
(20:34:08) Copyright © 1992-2001 SAP AG
(20:34:08)
(20:34:18)
(20:34:18) Receive job for printer HPDeskJet710C (Berkeley LPD protocol / RFC1179)
(20:34:18) send_status called
(20:34:18) send_status called
(20:34:19) send_status called
(20:34:19) send_status called
(20:34:20) send_status called
(20:34:20) Job 000BMdpC.FME for user MSH-LI queued.
(20:34:20) Job 000BMdpC.FME (raw) started on printer HPDESKJET710C
(20:34:21) Job 000BMdpC.FME (raw) with 114839 bytes finished
But my printer stays quiet - nothing printed.
I do the same thing with another client also via VPN and it works fine.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Clemens

just solved it: They did not use SAPWIN driver and did not setup Host spool printer as __DEFAULT - now it's OK.
