Hi Gurus,

Can any body suggest a method to automate a mechanism to take out transaction logs for some specific user ids for some date range.It is very long procedure with Sm20.

hi khaiser,

execute the transaction ST03N and select "user profile" from the screen. then set the filters, in that select "user name" and say ok. then it will ask for the user ranges. then specify tht. .and say "ok".

we can't specify date range here.

Hi Rajesh,

Thanks for your reply.I agree with you we can also take Transaction logs with Sm20. But it is a very leanthy process i want some automated method ,some thing like a background job ,or some customisation with developers.If you know any procedure please forward me i shall be thankful to you.

hi Khaiser,

since you want to automate this operation, then why don't you think of SAP Scritps. [executing a scat] by creating a test case and enter a dummy vaules like "&name" etc and executing the script timely will do the required, i guess.
