Can someone please help me get answers to differences between

CUA : Light version

CUA : Full fledged version.

I was only aware of CUA, was not aware of anything called Full Fledged version.

If somebody knows a thing or two about these can you direct me to a link that explains them or would you be kind enough to reply to this thread with the answers.

Hi Sivi,

I understand, thats what you have been asking... i am asking where did you catch these terms. If they are from some SAP journals, SAP related Sites or SDN or some Teched Sessions they are OK. But if its from the mouth a blabbery techie trying to showcase some new technical jargaon, then i hope we are searching no where. Thats the reason why i hhave requested for the origin where this had caught you.

Sri

Raghu,

Sorry, I was in a hurry when I replied.

I was asked about this by my Manager, He wants me to find out more about this. I did tell him that I never heard this term before.

So I am not sure if it was just made up OR does it genuinely exists. I have done a lot of search myself but have not landed up on anything as of yet.

But everyone thanks for your help and please let me know if you find something on this, I will do the same.

Hi Sivi,

On a lighter side to the manager :TBTLV

When all the clients in your landscape are included or connected to the central system then its a Full fledged version .. else its a Lighter verison.

Wish u luck in the search... and do keep us updated...

Sri

Perhaps someone dropped the word LDAP in a discussion with him?

PS: The spot for "TBTLV" is still open at wikipedia!!!

Hi Sivi,

don't do much research on this. Officially there is only one CUA. We do not intend to provide any 'CUA light' or other incarnation of CUA at the moment. Would be really interesting though to know, where your manager heard these terms.

Regards,

Patrick

Where have you heard about these therms ??

I would have guessed I would have heard about them if they exist but haven't so far.

Sivi

Tell your manager that there is nothing like technically defined versions of light or full fledged CUA. There is only one CUA. If he insists there is, tell him to poit you to the source where he got the information from. Any research on this at this point would be a waste of time.
