This is to adjust space between two lines in the output of the layout

Spacing between the lines. The default value is 1 line; the LPI value (lines per inch) in the header data is used to calculate the line spacing.

and also it is the linespacing in a paragraph, measured form the lower margin of a text line to the upper margin of the next line.
