SAP Script giving short dump

Hi Experts,

We have customized the SAP Scripts at one client's place. they have been tested and they are running fine in prod. Later we took a client copy and all the scripts along with all other Z programs are seen here too.

I had given the SAP Script name and went inside in display mode. When i try to open any window of SAP script it gives a runtime error saying that INVALID_NAME.

Please some one guide me what could have went wrong.

hi Narayan,

The error shows that the sap scripts is not in the database,Better you try with same name and click the create button,So that we can identify that its deleted or not there when its newly created.....

Let me know what happen..

Dear mahesh,

The Script is present in the database. I ran through the debugger and i found that there are differences in the client server where it is running fine and the other server where we made a client copy.

a std function module NLS_WORD_CF_HIDEDINFO and a reference call to it are missing in the server where the SAP Script is running successfully while the presence of the same is leading to short dump in the other server.

Now i am in doubt which server is with latest patches and hence requested basis guys to look into it.

anyway thank you verymuch for spending time on this.

Script was missing in the current client. copied from source and problem solved
