SAP Recommended tool to transform SQL to XML.

Our customer needs to extract data from customer's own system. Is there any SAP recommended or standard method for transforming SQL to XML form.

Plain text SQL? I do not think so.
But you could generate plain text SQL from XML with external tool like: https://redata.dev/smartxml/docs/how-to-parse-xml-into-sql-or-json.html
