hi ,

this is like the reference for the solutions that had develouped by the errors.. suppose you had an error in using the tcode that is not a manual error means it may depends on the sap technology then if you give the error name it will show the solution..

SAP Notes

SAP Notes give you instructions on how to remove known errors from SAP Systems. They include a description of the symptoms, the cause of the error, and the SAP Release and Support Package level in which the error occurs.

Depending on the type of error, an SAP Note may also include:

· Workarounds

· Descriptions of how to correct repository objects in the ABAP workbench, known as correction instructions

· Links to Support Packages that solve the problem

You can access SAP Notes both from the SAP Service Marketplace and SAPNet - R/3 Frontend.

Hi venugopal bellam

SAP Note is the new term for OSS. If standard SAP program

has any bug or error, SAP will provide small correction

instructions patch/note for customers to implement the

changes. You can user transaction SNOTE for downloading and

implementing note.

One time i had a requirement to add a email id field in the standard table , so that customers mail ids can

be stored in that table , so sap released a note ( like patches in windows) to add the field in

the standard table.

In 4.7 version we dont have an acknowledgement option in form 16 , so sap had released a note for that

Pls have a look at this link..
