We are planning to purchase SAP IDES. So I wanted to know

about its price and from where we can get it ? I also wanted to know whether it will include all the functionality of SAP Application Server and SAP Client GUI.

Some info that i found

"You can get it for free if your company has SAP and are current on they liscense fees. The (4.7 Enterprise) package is comprised of 3 disks and on the first installation disk you have an installation guide. When you order your CDs, onlinem you should be able to select your database.

One last thing, make sure you have a DVD player at work which you can view from your SAP server. It seems that they are sending all the IDES CDs now on DVD."

our company is not having SAP , We are a DMS & workflow product company. But as we want to integrate our products with SAP , so we want to have some demo or training version of SAP , so that we can test our solutions.

So , can you please help in giving us information about SAP IDES avaliablility & price.

No idea about the price of sap ides but there is simillar sap called minisap which you can download and you can test with your applications.

Below is the info about mini sap

MINISAP is a full-fledged Basis SAP system without the SAP applications (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.). It has every Basis function of a standard SAP-R/3 system (ABAP/4 Development Workbench, Data Transfer Workbench, Computer Center Management System - CCMS, etc.) and, therefore, is a very good means to get exposed and trained in ABAP/4 programming language.

It is also a very good personal productivity tool (i.e., it can be used to develop programs for customers without having to be on-site).

The minisap are for those who are new and want to get Basis exposure or want to learn ABAP programming at their home PC.
