SAP GUI recording error.

When i try to record an ecatt script using SAP GUI then error message "System of Newly Started Session Does Not Allow Scripting. Therefore the session cannot be recorded." is displayed.

The folllowing setiings are enabled.

In Customizing of local layout

1. scripting in installed

2. Enable scripting is checked.

In RZ11

sapgui/user_scripting value is set to ''TRUE"

In Table "T000" the ecatt restrictions are set to "eCATT and CATT allowed."

Can some help with this issue?

Please check in the option settings for enabling scripting.

After you do all this , sign out and sign in..

Is this happening only for SAPGUI or even for TCD aswell.

Hi Ajay,

It's happening only for SAPGUI. TCD is working fine.

I have checked the options for scripting and have also logged out and logged in, same problem.

Do you check the RZ11 and check for this parameter name sapgui/user_scripting, current value is maintained as TRUE.
