Sales order Bapi

Hi,

I am working on performance tunning project, one the report is having performance issue. After I did runtime analysis, came to know tht BAPI_SALESORDER_GETSTATUS is taking 73% of database time and sometimes ends up in time out short dump. Is there any way to avoide using BAPI, I looked for other functions modules but couldn't really find any. Can anyone of you please suggest me the work around for the same.

Without knowing why you are using the BAPI, what you are passing and what you are getting, it will be difficult to say anything.

Hi,

You can try selecting the status directly from ddic tables like VBUK and VBUP?
