RTF Specifications for Arial Font

Hi All,

I am trying to add the new font family Arial to Sapscript (using SE73) and when I load the TrueType fonts using ZARIAL (family I created)thru c:\windows\fonts\arial.ttf, the system gives me the error message :

Administration/Upload of type 1 and TrueType font files

This font family is no global soft font ZARIAL

What am I doing wrong? I created the RTF information \fswiss\fcharset&&& Arial

for ZARIAL.

I do not understand the error. But just check you are following there step.

1) SE73 ==> Font Families ==>True Type-Font Installation==> Give the new name(zarial1)==> Bold, Italic(If exists) ==>Font end file name(ttf file)==> Give the request number==> RTF text.

This steps, will give you the log screen of processed font.

is what I get when I step thru the SE73 procedure just as you mention, using the TrueType fonts in my c:\windows\fonts directory.
