Routine for VTFL pricing

Hi,

I am trying to add the code for pricing type in transaction code vtfl. My requirement is to keep the pricing field in display mode in billing document. As the same functionality is working for pricing type in billing doxument.

Version is ECC 5.0.Please help.

Is your requirement to keep the pricing of 'sales document' in display mode? (billing document pricing is usually in display mode as pricing elements aren't available for modification at invoice stage)

If your requirement is to make all pricing condition types on the conditions tab 'display only' you can use the exit USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION (program MV61AFZA).

Example:

CASE SCREEN-NAME.

WHEN 'KOMV-KBETR'.

SCREEN-ACTIVE = 0.

ENDCASE.

I used the above example 3 years ago to hide condition rates completely based on a custom authorization object. But if you merely want them to be in 'display' mode rather than 'invisible', you can experiment with other values for SCREEN-ACTIVE or even other such pre-defined variables.

Thanks for the reply.

My requirement is that i have to write a new routine which should work as 'C' but should be in display mode in billing document.

Currently the functionality is like in sales order and billing document the value(pricing) will be updated and will be in enable mode in both order and billing.

I need to put the pricing field in display mode in billing document with the above functionality.

Please do the needfull.

Ibrahim,

Copy control routines are usually for validation (requirement) or controlling what data is copied (data transfer routine).

If you want to change how pricing type behaves then I guess an exit is more suitable than a routine. For example, the exit USEREXIT_PRICING_RULE (program RV61AFZA) can be used to change how a pricing type works. The fields of STEU can be changed in this exit to manipulate the way pricing behaves. Hopefully there is such a parameter that makes pricing unchangeable.
