I wud like to know wat is the diff between implementation prorject, rollout and Support projects.Is there anything else apart from this.. Cud anyone help me out ..

Hi Parvez

In simple words i would say:

1. Implemenation -> Developing a new system.

2. Rollout -> Extending an existing to new sales company or plant.

3. Support ->Giving service for a project which is already implemented/rolled out.

say XYZ company has operations in US, UK, Japan, Australia, India etc...

Initially the project will be implemented for US...This project gets over and go-live has been successfully done.this is called implimentation..Now, the SAP concept need to be extended to other countries so as that the system should be in sink...So, the is no need to implement freshly for other countries...instead Rollouts are been done to other countries so that all the countries system are in sink.
