you ca compare users, roles,profiles with in a client and also interclient if you know the RFC

can anyone let me know what is the use of comparing roles,profiles,and users?

may be it is is a silly question but please advice.

You can compare them so you know the differences e.g. you know that 2 roles are similar so you can use the compare function to identify the exact differences easily. Same for users.

A user compare can also refer to the reconciliation of a user against the profiles for their roles via tx PFUD, this is a technical comparison and ensures that the user->roles->profiles are correctly synched

u can compare roles in SUIM.using the option of comparisons....

u can compare 2 roles of single system and different systems also.. for 2 different systems use corssystems option... not only for roles this comparisons are used for the profiles and authorisations etc....
