HI Expet ,
Please tell me the difference between "menu based role" and "not menu based role".
Any pointer will be highly appreciated .

Hi Premraj,
First understand the Menu concept in SAP. Do you see a menu tree structure left hand side in the first SAP screen after you login? That is the menu designed by SAP. Its default.
Menu Based role means displaying the menu items with the icons of the tcodes and reports added to the role in the SAP in the menu tab of PFCG.
So whenever user logged into the system these menus will be displayed which are from all the SAP roles assigned in SAP.

it's clear about menu based role but what is not menu based role , pls explain with example.

Hi Prem,
The roles which are not menu based are generally not recommended.
However these are the one in which we have auth objects manually added to the role.
