what is meant by rolebase menus...can anybody explain me please.

Rolebase Menus, as the name suggests it is basically the menu displayed to the user would depend on the role defined for him/her. In short, he would be able to access only certain options from the menu etc.
Example : A person with distribution role would have access to Sales & Distribution menu and Logistics but no access to Production Planning etc.

Hi,
Look at the Transaction SE43
Area menu is nothing but, in the initial screen we find some transaction codes in the Left side, so we can create these menus based on the users, i mean we can create some roles and assign to users
