what is the C in RICEF

C-Conversions...What type of conversions they are??

There are 2 types of conversion inbound and outbound.

Conversion is for transferring of data from legacy system to SAP Database.

It can be done using BAPI's, LSMW ,BDC,etc..

Hi,

It refers to what is more commonly known as Data Migration (I guess RIMEF was harder to pronounce), taking data from your old systems and loading it into the new system.
