Hi,
i'm using TIBCO Workflowmanagementsystem and i try to handle absence approval processes over this TIBCO system.
After an employee filled out his absence form, somebody has to approve his absence.
In our company we're using SAP to represent our company structure.
I'd like to know if it's possible to make remote function calls to SAPs organizational Structure, or if there are any Bapis i could use to find out relationships between chiefs and employees.
thanks for your help!

It seems your question should not have been posted to ABAP objects forum! You'd better post to workflow forum or abap general.
I usually call RH_STRUC_GET, but it is not RFC-enabled. I see that this FM is called by RH_GET_STRUCTURE which is RFC-enabled. It's a kind of wrapper, with a little bit less parameters than RH_STRUC_GET:
RH_STRUC_GET parameters | RH_GET_STRUCTURE equivalent parameters |
|---|---|
ACT_OTYPE | OTYPE element of AC_CONTAINER table |
ACT_OBJID | OBJID element of AC_CONTAINER table |
ACT_WEGID | ACT_WEGID |
ACT_PLVAR | PLVAR element of AC_CONTAINER table |
ACT_BEGDA | None; always set to SY-DATUM |
ACT_ENDDA | None; always set to SY-DATUM |
ACT_TDEPTH | TDEPTH element of AC_CONTAINER table |
ACT_TFLAG | None; always set to space |
ACT_VFLAG | None; always set to space |
AUTHORITY_CHECK | None; always set to 'X' |
others | none; default values of RH_STRUC_GET are used |
If you need information about RH_STRUC_GET, first search SDN (with terms RH_STRUC_GET and OOAW for example). If you can't find any info you need, post the question.
