RFC Enabled FM?

I have a PC that is attached to a scale interface. I have written a VB program that will communicate with the scales. Currently I have an FM in place that will take the weight from my program and post it to the ZL02 (Outbound Deliveries) form. On this form I have a button that initiates the FM to get the weight from my program. Now for my question.

I would like to push that button on the ZL02 form and have it ask the PC for the weight rather than weight on it. Can you create an FM on the PC side and have a RFC on the SAP side call it? If anyone knows anything about this could you please give me and example.
