Restrict Users from Changing Spool Request Attributes

Is there a way to restrict users from changing the Retention Period from our Default Setting of 8 Days to "Do Not Delete" when running a background job ?  I thought maybe S_SPO_ACT would be an option but was wrong.

Did you try Report RSPRIPARADMIN and the Option that the rentition period is not changeable? This report is used to define the appearance of the print dialog in general for the whole system!

I tried checking the two options for Retention but didn't realize that using the copy button at the bottom was the key.  I was also confused by no save button but the check mark worked well.
