Reset MVKE fields using MATERIAL_MAINTAIN_DARK

Hi im trying to reset fields VMSTA and VMSTD from MVKE

Im using MATERIAL_MAINTAIN_DARK

input data:

AMARA_UEB-MATNR = 300142.

Im getting the error msg "Valid from" date only defined in conjunction with status

What could be wrong ? what value should I put in AMFIELDRES-TRANC and D_IND?.

Hi,

You can use the BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA ..in there pass

HEADDATA-MATERIAL = 'material number.'.

HEADDATA-SALES_VIEW = 'X'.

SALESDATA-SAL_STATUS = ' ' .

SALESDATA-VALID_FROM = ' '.

SALESDATAX-SAL_STATUS = 'X'.

SALESDATAX-VALID_FROM = 'X'.

Then call the BAPI with the above values..

Then call BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT to commit the data
