Hi,

How to create Request number? and when the request number will generate?

Hi ,

You mean Transport request?if you mean transport request

Go to transaction se01.

select what kind of request you want to create

eg:workbench request,customizing request etc.

click the button create

give the description

when you save it request number will automatically generate.

Whenever you create your own object, i.e., (report, dictionary element,....)

the first time when you save it, you'll get a dialog box where you have option PACKAGE..

Give the <b>PACKAGE</b> name and then press <b>SAVE</b>, then a small dialog box with <b>REQUEST NUMBER </b>appears. Give your own request number and then save it.

The object is saved under that request number.

hi..

Goto ->SE10 Goto Menu -> Request/Task-> Create Request..And give your short text.Then you can assign this request number for your Zobject..If you are unable to create here that means some authorization problem you should contact your Basis Person..

or when u create some zobject and save it, it asks for the package.. there u can give the package name and click the <b>create icon</b> and give short text and u can create the request..
