Report Writer error

HI Experts,

we have a report library, one report group, and three reports in our development server. and the reports are working ok in development system.

These objects have been transported to the production system, by the author of the report. But Now we found that the objects in the production system (transported library and dependent objects) are inconsistant. When i try to generate the report in the production, its giving an internal error.

" Internal error: Set 0109A200SALES does not exist."

Message no. GR 232

Diagnosis

A set used in a report cannot be found when reading a report prior to generation or for report maintenance.

The report is inconsistent as a result.

System Response

The report cannot be processed.

Procedure

This inconsistency probably occurred as a result of an incorrect report transport (without dependent objects). In this case, repeat the transport (with dependent objects).

I guess, there is a set 0109A200SALES, and this is not transported to production. when i check for this set in the dev system, i found its not available. (Set 0109A200SALES does not exist)

So, can anyone tell me what is the problem?

I still have the TP requst in my dev system, which the original developer has created. the following are the objects associated.

RWRO\ZIO\Z552-001

RWRO\ZIO\Z552-002

RWRO\ZIO\Z552-003

STSO\0102A200SALES

STSO\0109A200SALES

( So something calld 0109A200SALES exists in dev system)

I created a new request, including these objects, and transported into production. But the transport ends with a return code 8. ( means error). This is the TP Log

Hi Deepak!

Sounds like some CO-objects aren't transported. Take a CO-consultant and check for missing transports of sets.

Obviously your original report-request does not contain all needed objects -> some consultants (customizing) requests are missing.

Christian

Deepak,

Did you find out how to transport sets from Development to Production or from one client of production to other. If so, could you let me know.

Thanks,

Charuni
