REPORT / PROGRAM indication is missing or the program type is Include.

Hi,

I have a program with two includes, One include which contains the FORMs (this include is of type pool subroutine) and the other contains the TOP declarations. Include FORM calls Include TOP.

When I activate the main program the activation goes smoothly. But when I want to activate the FORM include I get the error message "In Include TOP / The REPORT / PROGRAM indication is missing or the program type is Include. ".

Because of this error I have a Return Code 8 when transporting the Transport Order.

The include FORM is also called by other programs while they are active. I checked the old Transport Orders and there was no RC = 8 issue.

Can you suggest solutions to me please?

Hi Mehmet,

Please read the Error log of the transport request, it will show you what is/are the missing include FORM. Then check whether the related include is attached to the Transport request number you're trying to transport to Quality/Production.

Also you can check the version history of the include and confirm if the relevant transport request are already moved to Quality/Production. If not you have to move those also with your report/program objects.
