Report printing default layout

how can we change the default layout for printing reports.Please help

if the layout for printing is not specified how does the system picks the layout for printing.

if suppose in the program i didn't specified line -size and line count, How does the selects the best layout for the report to be printed

Hi Abdul,

For a normal report the default no of line when the line-count is not mentioned is 60,000 line per page.

and the default line size is around 104 to 116. ( I checked this in my personal system long back and I am sure, But today i check in my office with the same 4.7 EE version, the linne size varies. more 150. May be because of the Front end new editor I am using)

Are you refering to ALV reports output layout ?.
