Report Painter Issue

Hi All,

I have a small issue on Report Painter Report.

While attaching a Row Model or Account SET in a Report we automatically get the Description / Text for the related corresponding Line / Subtotal line initially.

e.g. (Account Set ZZZ_BSMN_APL_AE) is inserted in a report shown as below :-

Receivables from Transfers -> This is Description of Account Set above

available under GS02 - Change SET .

If we change the Description above later on to (say)

'AAA Receivables from Transfers' say using T-Code GS02, this change does not reflect in the report, Saving / Activating does not help too . We need to change the Description in the Report manually . The reason behind is - this Description is coming automatically initially as by default help and can be modified as per one's choice by using Text Mainteinance Screen.

My requirement :- Is there any way to get this Description changed Automatically in the Report once the Description in the Original Account Set is changed .

Hi,

Please check whether there is any manual text defined in the report for that row. In the report definition, double click the lead column. In the window opened, click the text button which appears in the bottom.

Thanks for your reply.

I believe, I could not make you understand.

Please read it once more. My Requirement is to get the Related Text / Description Updated Automatically in the Report(Section), if there is change in the Account Set Description by somebody elsewhere.
