Hi,
is there any way to rename a SAPscript...or copy an existing SAPscript to a new one.
I can use program "RSTXSCRP" to upload/download a SAPscript, but the only limitation seem to be the way the file has been named originally.
Thanks,
Rajib

Hi Rajib,
When you copy from client you can specify any name in the trget form.

Vani,
I have to rename the SAPScript within the same client.

Rajib,
I just tried this in SE71 and it works for me. I copied a form which is there in a client in to another name ( target form ) in the same client. If your client is 100 just type in 100 in the client field and it will copy it in the same client. Hope it works for you too.

I don't know if you can rename the sapscript, but you can copy it. Use transaction SE71. Put in the name you want the new sapscript to be, then click the create button. Then select the first menu option, 'Form'. Then select 'copy from' and put in the form you want to copy from.

Hi Rajib,
For renaming:
Simply use transaction SQ01, fill in the Query name and select via the menu: Query --> Rename...
(or press keys Ctrl+F1)
For copying:
Simply use transaction SQ01, fill in the Query name and select via the menu: Query --> Copy...
(or press key F9)
That will do the trick.
Regards,
Rob.
