Dear all..I need to remove an appended structure from the standard EKKO table..someone has tried to append the structure CI_EKKODB in this table & has has not done it properly. Now as a result of this the EKKO table has become partly inactive & while we try to activate it, it gives the error that the following table could not be activated. Now any program or standard transactions related to EKKO table is giving a short dump error when tried to access. Hoe do I go abt it?? Do we need the access key to set it right? I have separately deleted the include using SE11 but still the same error & that structure is displayed in the standard EKKO table.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks & Regards
Ajai

go to transaction code SE11 . Enter database table with append strucutre and click on Delete button.also have to activate and adjust from SE14.

u need to delete the append structure by entering the structure name in se11 which it seems u have already done, now goto se14 enter ur table name and hit activate and adjust

Dear all, thanks for the replies..but I took a different approach to the issue..I went to Utilities & Database Utilities and activated it from there..Which is the same as SE14
It was a great help from you guys..thanx a lot..rewards awarded..but still inside the table I find that .INCLUDE
is there any way to remove it? Although it doesn't bother the operations in anyways

I think the .include and a dummy variable will remain but as u said, it will not bother u so let it be like that.

Hope u are not suggesting to delete EKKO table itself,
Only the structure needs to be deleted seperately not the databade table
