Released IDOC

Hi,

I have a message type which is extended in SAP version 4.7 and released. Later on the system got upgraded to ECC 6.0. Now I want to change the extended idoc in ECC 6.0 which is not possible as it is already released in 4.7.

Should I have to create a new extension for this message type and include the changes??

Yes, that's how it works, unfortunately. You'll have to create a new extension. Sorry!

Hi Soumya,

Did you tried like below.

Goto WE30 give the extension name of idoc.

Goto Edit --> Cancel release.

Do the changes to the extended Idoc.Then again relese the idoc.

Hope it works.
