Hello,

I have a ABAP report program which has a Ztable and few Zproxies, that is PI ABAP proxy objects.

Now, I need to release my report program and all objects to QA and production environment.

I am not having access to execute SE10 transaction. I have access to execute SE09 transaction.

I tried to release the objects but as I am doing this for first time. Can anyone please guide on all the required steps or can send any helpful link having detailed Tutorial. I triied to find help but was not able to find anything useful.

Regards,

Sameer.

Hi,

First you need to release all task related to your request and finally release the request.

Import of the request into production or quality will be done using TCODE STMS which should be ideally done by your BASIS team

A Word of thought : Always Approach your BASIS guy for transport related things.

Expand your transport and release all of the tasks under your transport, by highlighting a request and then click on the release the transport button. Repeat this for each task request.. After all tasks have been released, you can then release the transport request.

To import into the next system, if you have the access, logon to the source environment and go to tocde STMS, click on the Import Overview button and then click on the target environment in the list of environments in the transport path. If you don't have automatic add setup, you would add the transport by clicking on the menu path Extras > Other Requests > Add. Input your transport request number and target client and hit Enter. Highlight the transport in the import queue and then click on the Import Request button.

For the import process, it's best if you have your Basis team create a process that will automatically add the transport to the queue and then auto-import at a chosen interval (e.g. every 30 minutes or daily or whatever interval you desire).
