Release Functionality in Batch I/P

hi expert,

when process batch input session , some of the session status is always in processing .

and check in the session some of the items most of them are correct and some of them are incorrect .

The reason is the termination of background job running for the session.

Can we just release the session and reprocess it again?

and is there any duplicate posting since most of them shows correct in the processing session ?

Aany advice will be appreciate .

Hello hKP,

the release of the BI session should reset the status. After this you can reprocess it - the already sucessfully processed records will not be processed again. If you want to check this, start the BI session in "display mode" (i don't know the exact description in english - it's the first option, in the popup, where you can also descide, to run it in background. You should see, that the first record with error will be processed again.

After that you can cancel the further processing and start the BI session in background again.
