Relation between idoc and bus. obj.

Hello,

I try to customise the sap standard relations between

idoc field and object key(of bus. obj.) for nonsap

idoc in order that for example in BD87 i will be able

to select idocs by obj. type and obj. key.

The function used by sap for the relations is

srel_get_next_neighbour and it doesnt return

any records of my idoc relation.

I have already customized the relations settings

transactions bd95 bd57 bd59 and bda4.

Hi,

Thanks for the help, but I have already done this

customization. maybe there are more customization or

setting we should set for a new IDoc to work with these

relations? maybe even bussiness object settings.

Hi,

Go to transaction SWO1, create a zobject with supertype as IDOCAPPL. Do the following steps :

Create the new object type as a subtype of IDOCAPPL. 
You should therefore enter IDOCAPPL in the field and choose  Subtype. 
Enter the attributes for the new object type (name, short description and so on) and a new program name the implementation program.
The implementation program is partly generated and describes the attributes and methods of the object type. 
Select  and save the object. 
Choose GENERATE. 
Before you can use the object type, the release status must at least be set to implemented. In the initial screen of the Business Object Builder Object type ® Change release status to ® Implemented.

Once you do this, link this zobject with your idoc in transacton we57.

Hi,

Thanks again for the help but theres problem with

creating bus. obj. with sub type idocappl because it

contains idoc number as attribute and not object key.

Anyway, do you know bout any documentation of this

subject cause I could'nt find any.
