Dear Experts,

I have uploaded a logo in my smartform but its blurred. I want to change the resolution of the logo. Please advice me how to do that.

Hi

First check whether that Image is good without placing in smartform

If it is good and on smartform it is blurred, then check the FONT/SEttings of the printer . because on some printers you will get that problem,

try to take the print on some other printer and see.

In the Print preview also it is coming as blurred? or not? check

Hi,

On the graphics in smartform where you are giving the image Name, Object and Id below there is one block Technical attributesis there . In that Resoulutions will be there. You modify the pixel per inch according to your requirement. The resolution will be change.

Hi Preeti,

U can upload logo using tcode SE78 and then used in your smartform node for logo.

There is no standard specification for logo in SAP. You can either upload BMP or TIFF logo. I would suggest you to upload logo in BMP format.

In terms of size and resolution this is how you can order .BMP types

Size Resolution

Monochrome bitmap Lowest- 1 Lowest- 1

16 Color bitmap 2 2

256 Color bitmap 3 3

24- bit Bitmap Highest-4 Highest-4

If you do not care about color of logo, use "Morochrome format". If you care about color go for "24- bit Bitmap".

Try to create a logo with different DPI and see which looks ok. I recommend 600 DPI.

<b>Step by step creation :</b>

go to se78 graphics -> enter

BMAP(BITMAP IMAGES)

Name MYBMP

select radio button

color ->import

filename: c:\pictures\123.bmp.

name : mybmp

description : BMP ->continur ->save.(activate it)

now go to se71->choose the prog -> layout ->right click ->create graphics.

utilities -> printing test -> output device -> LP01.

It also depends on the format in which you have uploaded the logo.If everything is fine but still you are not satisfied with the logo,then you can modify it by copying it in MS Paint and then do the necessary changes to get a better look.

My image is blurred without placing in the smartform iteself. Now do i need to change it before uploading or i should change the settings in se78? In se78, the technical attributes tab is disabled. Please advice how should i change the dpi.

the best way is tht u copy the logo into paint n then make the necessary changes n uploaded it again.
