Regarding transport request

Hi experts,

I changed some calculations in report program . after changed the code when i save it was saved without asking me to create request. Now i want move that changes to production server. How can i do this.  this program saved in correct Package only.  Please Help me.

If it saved without asking for a transport request, that's most likely because it is already saved to an unreleased request and you just need to find it. Look through your existing modifiable requests (transaction SE10) and see if it is on any of them. If you can't see it, use the transport organizer tools (hammer and spanner icon in SE10) to search for it.

Open the versions of the Program and check the latest version. It should give you the Latest TR Number under which the program is locked.

Hi Linganathan,

You made changes in Report and it didn't gave you any Ppo-up asking whether you want to create NEW request or want to save in existing one implies that the same report is being edited by someone and that request has not been released.

You may go to SE03 , click Search for objects in Transports , provide Object name and select REPS from F4 help , mark the Check box and press F8.

It will give u all Transports related to Object mentioned. Select recent one and you will find your Report name inside it.

You may contact Owner of Transport and discuss whether  your change should go to production with his changes. if nothing conflicts you can import it but if there is any dependency , you need to wait till his changes are imported to production.

Ideally check should be made in SE03 for every object(smartform, report, script ) before modifying.
