regarding table activation

Hi All,

I created a client independent table, and there is some data, now i want to make the table client depensdent and i added that field,but during activation it is giving error like below

Check table

Data exists and the client-dependency has changed

Structure change at field level (convert table z**)

Check on table Z**resulted in errors

please kindly help me how to resolve the issue,

now after making table client dependent u need to do following.

go to transaction se14.

enter the Ztable name

press enter

click on Activate and Adjust Database.

it will solve ur problem...

Goto SE14 acivate the table and adjust the database.

Hi Sai,

Goto Tcode SE14 for data base adjustment.

Give ur table name as object name & click tables radiobutton.

push edit button. Then push activate & adjust data base button.

Ur problem will be solved.

Hi.

U can try this..

Go to Ur Table in Edit Mode.

Goto Menu:

Utilities --- > Database Utility

Click ' Activate and Adjust Database' Button .

Ur problem will be solved.

Dont Forget To Assign Points if Useful.Bhupal

1. chnage feilds in se11

2. save changes Dont activate

3. Use database Utliites SE14

4. press save & adjust data tab

Hi,

When Table Definitions is changed at the field Level or other Tech Details .

Table should be adjusted and activated in Se14 .

It helps .

Go to SE14 Type ur Table name and select Activate and Adjust .
