Regarding material master

Hi All,

I have an requirement that i have to identify the fields belongs to which view i.e in material master we have various views under views we have various fields for eg in sales :general /plant view we have a field called load group i just want to identify that field belongs to that particular sales :general /plant view could anybody say the table name which this all the details store or explain the business logic behind this scenario? now i think if i found the hidden fields in material master i can acheive this scenario can anyone say where all the hidden fields of the material master stored i.e table name also say that am going in the right path.

Hi,

You can find it from the SPRO->Logistics general->material master->field selection.

Alternatively you can use transaction OMSR.

This will help you in getting all hidden field of Material master.

I think the field you are talking about is 'loading group'. it is hidden by default.

one other way is that on the mm03, take any nearby field and press f9 and then pess technical settings, you will get the table name. goto the table in se11,and find for your field. if not present, then go to the table attributes and get the developement class. goto se80 with this dev. class. in dictionery section, you will find list of all tables assoicated with material master, search in all the tables for the field in these fields.
