Regarding Infoset Query

Hi,

I made changes in the existing Infoset Query. It takes the data from a Report Program.

This infoset Query is attached to a Data Source which picks up the values.

After the change in teh Query I am not able to extraxt data,,,It is saying ERRORS OCCURED DURING EXTRACTION.

Please help me.

Hi Priyanka,

If you've made some changes in the infoset query, i think there would be a need to re-generate it.

You can do that from t-code SQ02 & click the Generate button. try to run the query after that.

Hope that solves your problem.

Hi,

Can you tell me what kind of changes have u done in the query? & which report is running with that query? i mean is it a z-report or the standard one that gets generated when we create a query?

Hi Prateek,

The existing Infoset Query was using a Z Program.

Actually some fields were added in the Data Source by the BW.

So i just generated the Query so that it gets synchronised with it. But it has not happened.

As per my knowledge, if you're using a z report for the infoset query, then generation of the infoset wont help much, you may need to make the necessary changes in the z-report manually.

As there may be an issue in missing variables/fields which have been added in infoset but they dont exist in the background report.

Make these changes, then try running the query. Hope it works.
