Ravi,

No offence, you sound like one of my customers who wants everything done with a push of a single button without writing a single line of code...ever! lol

It would've been wonderful if we could do that (by rubbing a lamp may be) but unfortunately systems are not designed to read our minds or you can say they are not smart enough... just yet!

Now to answer your queries, attendances are stored via infotype 2002 in SAP, see database table PA2002 structure in respository. System must be configured first to use this infotype in order to store employee attendance data.

Some sort of interface technology has to be implemented so that your punching machine can be connected to your SAP system. There are heaps of "time recording" interfaces available within/outside of SAP...you can find loads of info here. See areas like SAP Solutions under Quick Links and Businees Community -> Discussion Forums and search for "time recording interfaces"....I'm sure you'll come across more than one useful document which explains the basic requirements to set up such an interface technology.

Good luck!

Hi Ravi,

The answer to the initial part of your question is that Attendances are stored in Infotype 2002 (i.e) DB table PA2002.

Younus
