Business Object is an entity which contains all the attributes, methods, events with which you can contain data and manipulate it.
say for Notifications in PM, BUS2038 is a business Object for Notification. it contains all the basic attributes, methods, etc.. which you can use mainly in Workflows...
SWO1 is the transaction.
