Regading SAP note

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to apply snote when there is no sap support? I need to apply snote for tcode j1iex,in which for 'CAPTURE EXCISE INVOICE' for a imported purchase order,the CESS column is missing.For that I need to apply snote.But there is not sap support.So is there any alternative way to apply snote in such case?

Hi,

What does you mean by "No sap support"? Dont you have a Service market place ID and password? Please clarify.

Hi,

User is saying as there is no sap support to apply snot as some router configuration is missing.So manually changes can be done.I never have applied snote earlier.So how to do manual changes?What is d procedure to do in such case?

The procedure for manual note application;

1) Goto [https://Service.sap.com/notes|https://Service.sap.com/notes] (You should have a S user Id to enter )

2) Locate the exact Notes or open it if you already know the note number.

3) Open the note and go to the correction instructions corresponding for your server release.

4) Open the correction and follow the instructions in it.

5) For modifications to standard programs and screen you need to get the access key for the corresponding objects from the service market place(Your basis guy can help in this)

6) After completion check once again if all corrections are made and activate the object(s).

7) Now its all done.

Revert back if you have any doubts.

Hi

SAP note means - Correcting for the SAP standard Tcodes or programs.

You need to search for that in SAP Service place.

if you don't find any solution(Note).

You need to raise problem to SAP then they will give a Note to implement for your system
