Hi Experts,
I have a problem with table maintenance generator. whenever I try to enter a duplicate value of full primary key the system has to prompt an error message 'Already an entry exists'. but I am not getting the message instead it allows to save the entry and the system goes to dump.
Please suggest what may be the problem.
Thanks.

Hi,
System cant display the message because the Primary key cant hold the duplicate values

You might have added or deleted a key field after the maintainence was generated. So you will need to re-generate your table maintainence to solve the problem.
To do that go to table maintainence in transaction SE11 and click on the Edit button in the toolbar. Select the options and continue. Once the maintainence is re-generated your problem should be solved.
Please mark points if the solution was useful.

Are both table and maintenance view active? Did you change table definition after generating table maintenance? Just in case, delete and regenerate table maintenance.

Hi Mahendar,
You can try and recreate the maintenance screen.
I am using a single step maintenance for my table and when I enter multiple values with same primary key system gives the error 'An entry already exists with the same key'.
Just check and let me know.
