Yes you can omit main window in Smartforms

But you can not avoid main window in scripts

We cannot create a sapscript without a main window.But we can create smartform without a main window.

But remember

In smartform

A page without main window must not call itself as next page, since this would trigger an endless loop. In such a case, the system automatically terminates after three pages.

It is possible in Smartforms

But not in SAP Script Instead U can do one thing reduce the size of the main window to negligible extent and dont write logic for the main window
